The long-awaited Land Use Code rewrite is almost complete. The Town has secured two grants for this and the final draft will be presented to Planning Commission on December 6 and Board of Trustees on December 13 for consideration and potential approval. At its November 1, 2022 Board meeting, the Trustees voted to approve Ordinance 2022-02, which changes regulations to short term rentals in town code. Please visit this link to see the full ordinance, which will be published in the Pikes Peak Courier on November 9, 2022. Changes will come into effect with the 2023 renewals.

The famous Catamount Trail is open again, thanks to the action of the Historic Green Mountain Falls Foundation, which purchased the land that was the origin of the property dispute. The HGMFF has granted the town an easement through the property so that the trail will remain open without future conflict!
